About the Architect

S. E. Deracy is a software engineer by day and a fantasy author by night. Fascinated by the architecture of complex systems, he applies that same rigorous logic to his writing, crafting hard magic systems where the cost of power is always strictly enforced.

The Author

He has spent the last three years building the world of Eurion and writing his debut novel, The Elementless Magician. While he spends his days building resilient applications, his nights are dedicated to exploring the Void—a magic system that refuses to be easily categorized.

When not writing or coding, he is likely acting as Dungeon Master for a long-running D&D campaign or getting lost in JRPGs and other video games.
